As we continue to fight the flu and struggle to keep our voices
in tact; we return this week to discuss the adventures of a
serial killer over the course of 12 years and the events that
unravel. We have been excited to check out The House That Jack
Built since it was first on our radar after the reception it
received during its initial festival screenings. Now on
uncensored Bluray in the UK, it is time to dive into the crazy
mind of Lars von Trier once again and try to come out the other
side as unscathed as possible. Elsewhere this week; the first
trailer for Midsommar has arrived and looks like a refreshing new
take on a familiar horror premise. Critters isn’t just returning
for a Shudder exclusive TV series after all. Matt has seen Horror
Noire: A History of Black Horror and is in full on hype mode for
Us. And Mike talks the delights of watching Phantasm for the
first time.
