Last year we did 4 retrospective shows on the Scream films and
had a great time. So much so that we also wanted to occasionally
look back on other Wes Craven films and rank them as we go every
so often when we have a quiet week until we eventually have SHB’s
definitive Ranking Wes Craven list of all his films from top to
bottom. Well now we are back and going straight back to the
start. The Last House on the Left is one of the most impactful
and important horror films ever made and we dissect everything
from it’s crazy censorship in the UK to the most zany cop
characters we’ve ever seen in a film. Elsewhere this week; we
react to the brand new trailer for Spiral:From the Book of Saw
and get extremely excited for cinemas to return with this film.
Evan Peters is playing a serial killer in an upcoming Netflix
show as part of a worrying trend. And lastly we thank all the
amazing bluray companies out there who restore so many great
films every year.
