#SHB276 - Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City

For our last cinema release of the year we have a pretty big one
to discuss. Resident Evil is one of our favourite things across
all media but sadly we’ve never had a film that remotely compares
to the great heights of the many games over the years. However,
with a director who clearly knows the source material and a
pretty fun trailer; we really hoped we’d see Resident Evil done
right on the big screen for the first time. Did it happen or is
this another misfire? We give our hot take on this much debated
film. Elsewhere this week; Chucky is officially coming back for
another season and we couldn’t be happier. Nic Cage is playing
Dracula. And Texas Chainsaw Massacre finds a new home at Netflix.
