ABOUT STEVE SYBESMA: Steve got his start as a concert promoter in
1972. Based in Indianapolis he promoted shows independently before
joining Sunshine Promotions in 1974. Sunshine grew into
one of the biggest concert companies in America, eventually
producing more than 7,500 concerts and events in Indiana, Ohio,
Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Georgia, Mississippi,
Nevada, and Puerto Rico. Steve resigned from SFX / Sunshine
Promotions in late 2000. After a 2-year sabbatical he moved to
Shanghai in 2003 to promote Western artists in China. There he
co-founded China West Entertainment and eventually merged China
West with Shanghai based A2Live. During his 11 years in China,
Steve produced several hundred concerts, festivals, and other
amazing projects. Steve moved back to the US in 2014 and co-founded
The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in Florida. And most
recently Steve has created ”Indiana Rock History” to collect
