This week we continue with part 2 of our in-depth analysis of the
Heavy Metal Mixtape limited edition cassette released on Night
Demon Records in October 2015. Jarvis alludes to some of the ones
that got away, bands who declined to participate in the project.
A mysterious soundclip is explained. Then we dive deep into the
contributions of Blade Killer, Bat, Raven, and Spellcaster. For
each track, you'll learn how the band is connected to Night Demon
and why the song was selected for the Mixtape. In most instances,
members of the contributing bands themselves share their thoughts
on mixtapes/compilations, reflect on the song in question, and
divulge often obscure nuggets about the inspiration, genesis and
evolution of the track.
