Episode #126 - Year of the Demon Tour - Return to America

This week's episode focuses on Night Demon's return to America
after a triumphant run of gigs through Canada in September 2022.
You will hear in-depth commentary surrounding the band's travels
to Texas and their weeknight shows in San Antonio and
Austin.  As to the San Antonio show, Jarvis, Armand and
Dusty describe playing in a strip mall after eating long-expired
chicken soup, and talk about the challenges of playing a
fan-prepared setlist, including one song they hadn't performed
live in six years. They then explore the symbolism of returning
to The Lost Well in Austin, including the city's significance to
the band and the "full circle" nature of returning there
post-pandemic. You'll hear what happened when an overexuberant
fan spilled beer on Jarvis and made his bass go out of tune.
Along the way, there are live audio clips of both gigs. The band
then discuss Night Demon's first trip to Cleveland since the
historic Live Darkness recordings in 2017, and explain the
importance of celebrating Bill Peters' 40th anniversary of
hosting the Metal on Metal weekly radio show on WJCU.
