Episode #43 - Nick Carroll - Prep Hoops Co-Founder & Totino-Grace Boys Head Coach

If you have a son or daughter that plays high school basketball
in Minnesota, chances are you know who Nick Carroll is.  If
you don’t, you more than likely are aware of or are familiar with
his company – Prep Hoops.  And if you are outside of
Minnesota you are becoming more familiar with Prep Hoops as well
as it is now in more than 30 states around the country. 
Nick, who is the co-founder of Prep Hoops, started the company as
a way to better connect high school players to college coaches to
aid in recruitment for both sides.  The main pillars of the
Prep Hoops business today are content, team events individual
player showcases.  

Nick is also involved in high school basketball as the head boys
coach at Totino-Grace high school.  In this episode we
discuss how Prep Hoops came to be, his thoughts on local versus
national player rankings and what the prep basketball landscape
could look like in the next 5 to 10 years.
