University of Minnesota head men’s basketball coach – Ben Johnson
joins for this episode.  Ben is entering his second season
leading the Gophers program and is also a former Gopher player
himself.  Ben was also a star locally at DeLaSalle high
school where he helped lead them to 2 state championships. 
For this episode we discuss Coach Johnson’s first season as head
coach, building a program on the fly and for the future, his
DeLaSalle days and how much he enjoyed football and which college
coach he’s been around that has the most colorful
language. 

We also chat about having his former high school coach (Dave
Thorson) on his staff, how good Jamison Battle can be and where
the Denzel Washington Twitter graphic idea came from for when the
team announces a new recruit on social media.
