Truth / Love, Part Two: When will I ever use this?

Following up on Part One of this series in 2 John, we explore the
reason or situation that John was addressing in his teaching on
Truth and Love in verses 1-6. Because "deceivers" or false
teachers with bad motives were on the move, John wanted his
audience to be watchful and make sure not to entertain or endorse
these teachers and their ideas. In verses 7-13, we have a great
reminder that the teachings of Christ and New Testament letters
were spoken and written to real people with real issues,
addressing real situations with eternal implications.
