Why Am I Runnin’ For Sheriff & Board of Supervisors? STICK IT TO THE MAN Show, w/Trista

I discuss — whilst shovellin’ horsesh+t — a few of my political
campaigns, & outline my platforms for both positions. In short,
for BOS: Plant 1.2 million trees & implement a world-class
cycling & hiking nature appreciation trail, ‘The Greenway’. As
your rhymin’ sheriff of Pima County, there are many things I’ll do
to ‘get the boot of The Man off the Neck of the People’, as I see
it. I’m running as a public interest advocate like uncle Ralph
Nader. There’s gonna be no more police brutality in MY Pima county
sheriff’s department; all public complaints about unnecessary use
of force will be PERMANENT, not temporary as they are now. All
investigations into deputy’s misconduct will be INDEPENDENTLY
reviewed, not internally as they are now. On Day One I will FIRE
& PROSECUTE Dep. Manuel Van Saten for his assault of 15-yr-old
quadriplegic kid, tackling him to the ground; & Inwill also
fire the Deputy Knerr who assaulted me last year April 19 &
falsely charged & imprisoned me... and Say One, I will GET RID
OF QUOTAS; not just parking & speeding ticket quotas, but
quotas BOTH Dem. Chris Nanos AND Republican Mark Napier have
ordered ALL DEPUTIES TO: Take At least ONE person to jail every
day; AND cite at least one person, & to have over 430 contacts
with the public every month. As aspiring Human rights lawyer, I
find this for-profit prison system and criminal INjustice system
ABHORRENT. Yes, so the deputies under my command might balk at
first having to listen to a WOMAN; but they will soon find that
their job is SAFER, more meaningful & prestigious. I will seek
more pay and benefits for this very tough job. I will work directly
with deputies union and open to ALL their suggestions. At the same
time, We will earn back the respect and trust of the public, On day
one, I will FREE THE KIDS held unlawfully and so cruelly on OUR
border, issue public apology to asylum seekers turned away from our
POE under this brutal administration, & seek citizenship status
for all those we wronged by our shameful inhumane policies; &
promise HUMANIDAD A LA FRONTERA IN FUTURE. Vote TRISTA CHANG AUG 4
