Lately I have found myself in very real place of heart searching.
With the new year approaching, and this year soon to be behind,
my mind wondered what the Lord will have me share and teach going
forward. I have very real valid, legitimate concern about
something. It is one big question that keeps getting stronger and
stronger. That question has been sown in prayer to Christ with
vigor lately. Not to mention on top of that, for the past 48
hours a powerful spirit of oppression began to afflict me which I
could get no relief from.


With every one so hyper focused on the natural plane of this
carnal existence regarding what seems to be, tidal waves of
destruction coming at us from every side. As well as nerve
wracking, synonymous catastrophes being expected, but not knowing
which one will hit us first. The build up of negative information
both in the natural and the physical. My big question is, "Who is
hearing the word of God anymore? Who has ears to hear what the
Spirit says to the saints in the earth anymore? Are people
listening with one ear, while at the same time listening more to
the voices of this world with the other? Is the voice of the Lord
growing fainter and fainter each day in those who once heard Him?


I felt like my heart has been in some sort of awful labor, and a
deep, great concern took hold of me, then I began pouring out my
soul to the Lord. This morning, I knew in my spirit that the Holy
Spirit had given me the simplest answer. Which was, "Never stop
reading the Word, that is what you are to do, and that is what
you are to tell them to do."  After I received the answer,
that heavy spirit of oppression departed from me. It was "like
the bright clouds, in the clear shinings after the rain."


Now I know why the Holy Spirit spoke these words to me last week
over and over again in the middle of the night, "In His light
shall we see light." I had wondered why He chose that verse above
all other verses to repeat to me.  That is until today. I
realized He had already given me the answer to my question before
I pleaded with Him to show me. His orders were for me
 solidly to continue in His word, and never to stop. To
remain faithful in it as long as I live.


The reason I think the enemy oppressed me so badly was obvious,
as the worst attack came this morning when I tried to read the
word. And that he knew Jesus would have me tell you, and give you
a solid charge. The devil does not want any of the saints of
Jesus to keep in His word of light which dispels any and all
kinds of darkness. His word is a potent quickening light force,
something the enemy hates to his lowest hell.


Always consider it an honor and worthy discipline to daily read
His word. It has great eternal revenues in Jesus beautiful
perpetual kingdom of light. We are His children of light, and in
His light we see light. Light is sown for the righteous and
gladness for the upright in heart. The entrance of His word gives
light, it gives understanding to the simple. Oh, that wonderful
light that shines in the face of Jesus Christ who is the Word!
 Keep yourself in His word because "the path of the just is
like the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the
Perfect Day (eternity)." This world is going straight into the
judgement prescribed for it, but not for us, "the Children of
Light."
