The subject of the Face of God is pretty short. Meaning, whenever
the topic or thought comes up, it is quickly met with a short
reply that leaves a blank. There are 71 references to the face of
God in the word. I think God wants us to know He has a face and
that it is a real face, as real as yours and mine.


Yet, there is so much more meaning what the Face of God entails.
 Everyone has a one of a kind unique face. It is their
identity now and forever. It also reveals their external
expressions of what is going on within them. God makes it clear
how He sees the expressions of mankind, and how He feels about
them.


Consider the faces of those we love are what bring us comforting
joy when we see them.  There are those whom we have deeply
loved who have passed away, and we keep the memory of their faces
alive in our constant memory and photos in picture frames.
 We anticipate the day that we will see their faces again in
the light of a thousand suns.


There are no earthly words that could describe the eternal
future. The powerful seeing them again "face to face". And yet,
there is another face that we will see "face to face" and "know
all things as we are fully known."


In Revelation 22:6 it says, "and they shall see His face...." As
if to say it in a way as that being the ultimate, supreme joy and
reward. He will also look upon each one of us with expressions of
purest love unspeakable, and of being proud of us while He places
crowns upon our heads. David tells us that the Lord told him to
seek His face, and his reply was, "my heart said unto thee, thy
face Lord will I seek."  The seeking of God's face is not
just about seeing His holy, beautiful countenance, it is about
knowing Him in the most intimate way.
