With the reality and knowledge of Jesus Christ being the true and
living God, there is also the reality of His arch enemy, Satan
the Devil. Paul the Apostle makes it very clear that there is an
weighty opponent. A highly intelligent, articulate, calculating,
wicked Being bent on wrathful vengeance against God. And that
wrath is against all humanity, and most especially, the true
Believer in Jesus Christ.


Today, Fred masterfully brings to understanding through
scriptural light, the spiritual battle that we enter into at
salvation. The method in dealing with enemy, and the assured rest
we have in the power of the Cross. He expounds by personal
testimony what happens when a person gives their life over
completely to Jesus Christ. How each one enters into the battle
and becomes a marked man or woman from then on.


Yet that man or woman who understands by God's word that they are
called to be good soldiers of Jesus Christ, will also understand
the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 2:14, "Now thanks be unto God,
which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest
the savour of his knowledge by us in every place."


In 1 Peter 5:8-9, " Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary
the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may
devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same
afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the
world."


As Fred put it, "Satan will seek to kill your faith, steal your
joy, and if he can, destroy your life." But God will make a way
out for us under those heavy temptations, and that "way out" is
Jesus Christ Himself. The triumph and victory belong to those
whom Christ purchased by His own Blood, whose names are written
in His Book of Life.
