Lately I have been watching the whole world going into meltdown
phase. The world we have been used to is becoming a banana
republic and a spin zone of chaos, panic and fear. I have been
reading articles and watching the "real" news and seeing that we
are slowly running out of food. Many people are becoming aware
now.   Those that have been aware have been
stockpiling, while others have laughed and mocked the reality of
it. Now things are changing. People are beginning to wake up and
panic. Food prices are astronomical and there is no end in
sight. 


Along with that, the gas prices are soaring, and people are
becoming afraid. There is a coming economic catastrophe and this
time it WILL happen.  I bring this up because I have been
observing a lot of fear and panic. There is so much constant
"breaking news" that people are seeing and feeding on all day and
night. These words struck me yesterday, "the quiet power of the
Holy Spirit." Along with those words came a solid message within
my heart, I believe is from the Lord.  


While this world is melting down, we do not have to. While the
violence and noise of this world is going on, within there is the
quiet power of the Holy Spirit who is not phased by any of it.
This is now the time for us to all be stepping back out of the
edge of the tornado and into the "the quiet power of the Holy
Spirit" within us.   


In Isaiah 30:15 it says, "For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy
One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in
quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would
not."   


There is a "returning" to the Lord right now. A returning from
the chaos, noise and clamor to the Lord who is "quiet in His
presence." He will give you internal, solid peace in the quiet
power of the Holy Spirit. When that happens, you will then have
quiet strength of power within.   When all is quiet
within, then you are able to be led by Him. You will then be able
to hear His voice quite easily. You will walk in the power of
quiet paths while the world is falling at your right hand and at
your left. You "will dwell in quiet habitations," because the
house of the righteous is blessed.
