I read this morning in Psalm 7 about when David prayed to God
about his innocence regarding Cush the Benjamite. Cush the
Benjamite had accused David to Saul of treasonable conspiracy
against his royal authority. The truth is David was innocent.
However, he turns to God and asks Him, "O Lord my God, if I have
done this; if there be iniquity in my hands; if I have rewarded
evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered
him that without cause is mine enemy:)...."   


He did this because he wanted to God to show him if there was
anything he might have done that brought about this problem. He
even went as far as saying, "let the enemy persecute my soul, and
take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay
mine honor in the dust. Selah." He was ready to take the full
correction in order to be right with the Lord. After I read that
I came to another part of my reading in John 14:30, " Hereafter I
will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh,
and hath nothing in me." I saw how these two fit together.  


I had been feeling that there has been something standing between
me and the Lord. I had been praying for a while about this, and
today when I prayed, He answered me in these verses. I was shown
the truth in my situation and was then made free.   If
you have been feeling as if there is something standing in
between you and the Lord, then go to Him now. Ask Him, "Lord is
there anything standing in the way between you and Me? Is there
anything in me?" The Lord will answer you. Make sure that nothing
is found in you when the enemy comes around. Let him only see the
Somebody in you, Jesus Christ. Be free today "for ye are in
Christ and Christ is God."
