Yesterday the Queen of England died after 70 years of service on
the throne of her kingdom. I watched as the whole world became
still and silent. As if time stood still. I saw all the world
leaders immediately paying homage to her. I have never seen the
anything like that before. This world has their kings and queens.
They have their mighty lands and countries. But it is never
theirs forever. They die and leave it to others to rule and
reign. But they too die and others take their seat. And it must
be so, as this is a mortal world.  


This morning I prayed and asked the Lord to show me what He
wanted me to say today or teach. In a moment of quietness as I
moved about my house, I heard the words from Psalm 97:1: "The
Lord reigns..." When I heard it within it came with a strong
witness from the Lord that that is what He wanted me to say.
  


Jesus is the King of heaven and earth and always has been. He
rules in the heavens, and also "in the kingdom of men," and "from
generation to generation." Queen Elizabeth reigned for 70 years,
but Christ's reign is "world without end." It is "from
everlasting to everlasting." A day is coming when all kings and
all nations will worship Him, and praise His name. They will
mightily love the King of Love Jesus Christ. All nations will
flow into Mt. Zion to see Him, to sing to Him, and adore Him from
age to age, from eternity to eternities.

clouds of earth can smother, beyond the mist of the ravine. And
in the end they shall walk up that pathway of light with their
