A few morning's ago I was walking through my house thinking about
how good the Lord has been to us. I thought about how happy I was
in so many ways. As I did, instantly my thoughts were
interrupted. Another thought came to me that stemmed back to
yesteryears. Memories of when all things were going well and I
stopped keeping my "spiritual" eyes and ears open. How during
certain times, the enemy came in all at once unexpectedly to
destroy.   


I stopped and stood in my living room and prayed. Before I even
opened up my mouth, this verse came to my mind, "He (the Holy
Spirit) will show you things to come." Then after that another
verse came. "He will take what is of Mine and show it to you." So
I prayed those very things distinctly.   


I said, "Lord, You know all things, Your eyes are in every place
beholding the good and evil." Since this is so then I ask You to
show me anything the enemy might have planned to harm us." I had
a dream after a few days that we were in a horrifying, violent
car accident on the freeway. I soon began praying against that
dream and warred against it. Soon after my husband was in a car
accident on the freeway in the fast lane, but was completely
unharmed. As well as the other person, and perhaps many were
saved that day that could have had horrible eternal,
consequences.


You see, the Lord will give you the advantage over all of Satan's
plans to destroy you. Ask the Lord today and often as you live,
to "show you things to come" by His Holy Spirit. If there are
plans He will show you which way the enemy is coming up from, and
God will destroy all his plans on your behalf. He has done it for
me for decades, and He has no plans of stopping.  


I pray the Lord will open up your eyes and illuminate them. I
pray you will see today and always His protective love over you.
There are many other things He will show you to come in life to
always give you the pre-advantage in prayer. This is a wonderful
thing and so precious!
