**The Story I Have Decided To Follow Jesus AND Song:

A couple of days ago I was having a conversation about where the
song, "I Have Decided To Follow Jesus" came from. After I had
told the story, the person I was talking to was mad about how the
man and his family died. The man refused to turn away and
renounce Jesus and from following Him. Each time he was told to
do so with threats of killing his children and his wife, He would
answer, "I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no
turning back....the cross before me, the world behind me...no
turning back, no turning back."  


As I was explaining I began to speak about the breath of God in
that man. And by that eternal breath he chose to follow Christ in
life and in death. The breath of life is from God and the devil
cannot stop it. Which is why he has always" been a murderer from
the beginning."  


That man and his family died in faith, but not before he spoke
those awesome words by the anointed breath from God. Now they are
in heaven, and that entire tribe received eternal salvation. They
too then, received the new breath of God by way of the Holy
Spirit to share the gospel and testimony of Jesus Christ. That
breath of God has no end, it can never be killed off or stopped.
 It is a continual stream. 


You see, Satan and his demons are spirits. Spirits do not have
breath. Satan hates life. He hates all living things that have
the life-giving breath of God.  How much more the Believers
that now have received the new breath of  eternal life.
Satan needs to use the breath of the souls of men and women to
curse, blaspheme, gossip, lie and pour out filth. He wants to use
God's given breath to defile it.   


Furthermore he wants to shut up the mouths of all believers
because he knows that all their "new breath" is of a new mankind
through Jesus Christ. This shed new light on my walk in Christ
and I hope it will for you too. It is revolutionary to me as I
realize how precious and valuable His breath in us is, and what
it is for.  


Use your breath, rather HIS breath, for the good, for much
prayer. Worship Him with a loud voice, sing praises unto Him,
"talk ye of all His wonderful works." Speak goodness and joy into
lives on the behalf of Jesus Christ. Breathe out the "Life of
Life" as long as you live.
