In our walk towards heaven there are very few people that we have
observed their way and manner of life in the Lord. These few
stand out among the rest. They are steadfast, resilient, and
always unmovable. Though all kinds of religious movements happen
time and again throughout life, they never waver. They never flow
with the masses but remain firm like "the everlasting mountains."


When John the Baptist baptized Jesus he said, "I saw and bare
record that this is the Son of God." John 1:34.


Every now and then someone comes along that we bare record of
their unwavering faithfulness until their death. Charles Stanley
was one of them. He passed away at 90 years of age, and stood the
test of time, and I bare record "that this was [a] son of God" in
every way. It was not only what I learned from him through the
many decades, but the way he lived among us.


We are told by Paul the Apostle in Hebrews 6:12, "Be ye followers
of those who by patience and faith obtained the promises." Who
are you following? Who are you bearing record of that stands out
among the rest? Not for celebrity, but because you see their
lives bearing record of the Son of God. These that have gone
ahead of us went to heaven, and they knew the way, and we know it
because we have seen it. Paul said, "Be ye followers of me, even
as I also am of Christ." 1 Corinthians 11:1. What are people
bearing witness of you?


Stay on the ancient paths they walked on and left for us an
example that we should follow them into glory. There will we
rejoice together "world without end."
