God is always encouraging us to pray. He is always offering His
people to come and pray. In Isaiah 7:11 He says, "Ask thee a sign
of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height
above."

Also in Deut. 4:32: "For ask now of the days that are past, which
were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the
earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other,
whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or
hath been heard like it?"

Jesus invites us to "Ask and it shall be given to you." Yet there
are times many prayers seem to go on for years, even decades
without any sign of an answer, let alone a sign. God said that if
we asked He would answer. I love the words of Oswald Chambers.

"Either Jesus Christ is a deceiver and Paul is deluded, or some
extraordinary thing happens to a man who holds on to the love of
God when the odds are against God's character. Logic is silenced
in the face of every one of these things."

Though the time is long, either way you will rejoice either here
on earth, or in heaven in the Presence of the Lord. He will
answer you. It is a guarantee. He has trusted us to trust.

"Living faith is above circumstances; no delays can discourage
it, no loss of friends or depression in trade can touch it." ~
