Many of us do not realize the amount of expectation we have in
daily life. Every moment it is full of it. When we wake up, what
we eat, where we are going, what we expect from other people and
the near future.

However there are spiritual expectations I am highlighting. We
all know that we are living in the final closing seconds of this
church age. But are we really living as if we are expecting Jesus
to return for us in the Rapture?

Even if you do not believe in the Rapture and are a believer only
in the Second Coming. Expectation should be at an all time high
for all of us.

Nevertheless it seems that there is more expectation of things on
earth than things expected from Jesus Christ. David said in Psalm
62:5: "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is
from him." Notice David says "only."

We will always be disappointed in people even family and friends.
Not because they are evil, but because they are only human. We
only place expectation on what and whom we trust.

Are you living in expectation of Jesus Christ in answered prayers
and also His coming for us? Place all of your expectation on Him.
"We know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we
shall see him as he is."1 John 3:2. Keep your eyes on the Prize.

"Be ready servant of Christ, for thy Master comes on a sudden,
when an ungodly world least expects Him." ~ Charles H. Spurgeon
