How many of you have loved someone but they never reciprocated
love back to you? Everyone would say they know what this feels
like.


It does not always mean that the other person or people do not
like you. There are reasons why and only God knows.


Yet it leaves a little thorn in your heart every time because you
always go on loving them anyway. Which in a way brings an added
sorrow.


I have had many little thorns throughout my whole life and always
took it hard. But lately there was another little thorn. I
realized that God has allowed these many little thorns on purpose
to press me into His love that revealed the long lesson.


That lesson is about a freedom to love that gives wings to our
spirit to soar above the shadows of rejection. To love as Jesus
loved. He knows what it feels like to love to the pouring out of
His very Blood and not receive love back.


But Jesus keeps on loving because God is love. Let Him remove
those many thorns today and live in the freedom of His love
forever. There is nothing like it. There is no one like Jesus.
