I have some very close friends that are truly laborers of Jesus
Christ. We stay very connected in fellowship in things concerning
our respective fields. It seems like no other time when the Holy
Spirit speaks to our hearts so clearly.


Immediately that He engages our hearts and opens our eyes and
ears "to hear as the learned."


Then we go back to our respective fields to plow and sow in power
being refreshed the same way, I think Paul was when he was
allowed to visit his friends when in custody. It says he was
refreshed by them.


That is how it feels, like we have been quickened by the Holy
Spirit for work.


One of those I routinely speak with is Marty Breeden. He had
shared with me an encounter recently with a Jewish scholar who
reached out to him and asked him about the virgin birth.


Marty said he answered the question but the man became violently
angry and very vicious. But Marty, in love, asked him a simple
question which threw the man off and stunted him.


He regained his composure and attacked as viciously as ever. But
Marty took the attack in order to share the gospel in the "bond
of love."


This is the final yardage of our races and our boldness in love
is the call and to believe for the glorious impossible!
