Times of trouble are now upon this nation and we have come under
a great increasing darkness. Our personal lives are already being
grossly affected by it.

Everything is now uncertain and things are getting harder which
is casting a darker shadow upon earthly lives.

Many already are facing tough decisions and there are "fears
within and fightings without." We are not excluded from it as we
are also facing a mountainous trial.

The knowledge of it has pressed me back into the familiar fold in
prayer for wisdom, strength, counsel and deliverance.

I felt weak when I began to present my cause to the Lord, as it
has been awhile since I have had to get myself into gear for the
fight.

Then I realized perhaps I had let slip the remembrance of the hot
fights. I noticed that in forgetfulness prayer becomes less
adventurous, less brave in faith and expectation.

I was asking for smaller rather than greater things because
"leanness entered into my soul."

God gave me a dream last night and in the morning an in-flooding
of His life came in and there was power to stand.

We cannot enter into battle or a fight sitting down, but we go
first to God and stand because "the word of the Lord standeth
fast forever and ever."

And Our "Master is able to make us stand." Romans 14:4.

"The soldier is summoned to a life of active duty, and so is the
Christian. The very nature of the calling precludes a life of
ease." ~ William Gurnall
