The Great King-Priest

As we consider all of the uncertainty, conflict and turmoil in
our world, Psalm 110 gives us a rock-solid assurance that we have
as believers. We have a risen, reigning and sovereign King, Jesus
Christ, who has secured the defeat of all of his enemies. Our
victorious King will one day usher in a kingdom of peace and
righteousness. But this Savior, who is a King is also a forever
Priest…loving and interceding for his people. And so, our
King-Priest will fight for us, advocate for us and return for us
when he comes in power and glory to triumph over his enemies and
according to Scripture - set up his kingdom on earth.
