DeAnne Smith is Canadian/ American award winning stand up
comedian, writer, actor, podcaster whose preformed at Just for
Laughs, JFL42, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Melbourne
International Comedy Festival, The New Zealand International
Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and the Iceland
Comedy Festival.

Her stand up bit called “straight men, step your game up” has
been viewed over tens of millions of times. She’s also been on TV
all over the world, including on Last Comic Standing and The Late
Late Show in the U.S and been seen on NBC, CBS, ABC, Comedy
Network. She also has her own Netflix special called “GENTLEMAN
ELF”. In this podcast we talk about a wide range of subjects
including the concept of arriving in comedy, vulnerability,
anxiety, success, quitting, negative thinking, upbringing, belief
patterns, therapy, failure, marketing, selling yourself,
appreciating your audience, nerves, self-esteem and
