#107: Jorma Taccone - Transcending the Ego

Jorma Taccone is a writer, actor, comedian, director &
producer. He can pretty much do it all. He’s a versatile
entertainer and creator both in front of and behind the camera.
He is best known as one third of the comedy trio, THE LONELY
ISLAND with Andy Samberg and Akiva Schaffer. They have worked
with some of the biggest names in music including, Justin
Timberlake, Rhianna, Natalie Portman, Nicki Minaj, Adam Levine,
Pharrell Williams, Michael Bolton, Akon, and Kendrick Lamar to
name a few.


Jorma has also been involved with (either directed, written,
acted or produced) Popstar: Never Stop Never
Stopping, The Lego Movie, Hot Rod, Saturday Night Live,
MacGruber, The land of the Lost, An American Pickle, Parks and
Recreation, Grown Ups 2, PEN15, Girls, Spider-Man: Into the
Spider-Verse, Palm Springs, The League, The Last O.G. Brooklyn
Nine- Nine and the soon to be successful action
thriller Kung Fury in 2021. He has also won an Emmy
award for his skit Dick in a Box and is the author of the Little
Fox and the Wild Imagination. Jorma is also a voice actor known
for voicing Spider-Man Earth-67, Green Goblin / Norman
Osbourne and William Shakespeare.
