#131: John DiMaggio - Nonattachment

John DiMaggio is an award-winning voice over actor, actor, comedian
and producer. He has something like 400 credits to his name, which
is actually insane. You probably recognize his voice as Bender on
Futurama, Jake the Dog on Adventure Time, King Zorg on
Disenchantment, Middlemost Post, Zootopia, Marcus Fenix in
the Gears of War series, Dr. Drakken on Kim
Possible, The Simpsons, Rick and Morty, the Scotsman on Samurai
Jack, Teen Titans, SpongeBob SquarePants, American Dad, Avatar: The
Last Airbender, The Adventures of Puss in Boots and has even voiced
Aqua man and the Joker, plus a lot more. 

You’ve also seen him on Mythic Quest, Better Call Saul, The
Newsroom and many, many others. Plus John has also produced and
narrated the great documentary, “I know that Voice”.


As you can imagine, WE COVER A LOT, such as when he started out
in standup comedy, being fired, the importance of failure,
rejection, wanting the best for everyone, gratitude, his
documentary, passion & keeping the fire burning, his many
voices including Bender and Jake the dog, ego and unattachment.
