#143: Ron James - Today Not Tomorrow

Ron James is an award-winning stand-up comedian, writer, actor and
now recently an author.

He is known as one of Canadas best ever comedians where he’s also
been voted Comedian of the Year at the Canadian Comedy Awards and
has been awarded with the Best One Person Show title. He has also
appeared half a dozen times at Just for Laughs, the Halifax and
Winnipeg Comedy Festivals, Edinburgh Festival, and starred in the
first television series of his own
creation, Blackfly, which ran for two seasons.

Ron has written and starred in a record-breaking nine one-hour
CBC comedy specials, created and starred in two television series
(Blackfly and The Ron James Show) and has been
nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards. His one-hour comedy
specials which have been a New Year’s Eve tradition for the past
9 years along with his television series have captivated
millions and made him a household name. 


Ron’s new book, All Over the Map: Rambles and Ruminations
from the Canadian Road is now out. This is a book he has been
writing for most of his life, created while driving from gig to
