#199: Hayley Orrantia - Differing Paths

Hayley Orrantia is an actor, singer and songwriter. From starring
in hit television series to releasing chart-topping singles,
Hayley has quickly made a name for herself as one of the most
exciting multi-hyphenate talents in the entertainment industry
today. Hayley can currently be seen reprising her celebrated role
as Erica Goldberg in the decade-long hit ABC sitcom “The
Goldbergs”.


Parallel to her acting endeavors, Hayley has been releasing music
as an independent singer. Over the course of her music career,
Hayley has released a series of songs including an EP titled “The
Way Out”, featuring her breakout single “If I Don’t”. Hayley’s
love of music started at a young age and is what started her
career.


In film, Hayley most recently starred in Amazon/Lionsgate’s
holiday comedy “Christmas is Cancelled”. Also in the holiday
spirit, Hayley released her Christmas single “The Same Way” in
conjunction with the film on December 10, 2022. Additional
credits for Hayley include: recurring in “Schooled,” a popular
ABC spinoff of “The Goldbergs,” the independent feature film
“Cooper and the Castle Hills Gang,” and “God’s Not Dead 2,” where
her original song “Silence You” was also featured. 


Hayley’s single entitled “Open Your Mouth,” a vibrant pop anthem
was followed by the release of “Gasoline,” which showed off a new
side to her song writing. Her music has been featured on some of
the largest country music playlists and radio stations in
America, including Spotify’s ‘Wild Country’ and ‘Nearly
Nashville’ playlists and Radio Disney Country. In 2018 Hayley
conducted her first successful tour, the Strong, Sweet and
Southern Tour, hitting 22 cities across the US. In the same year,
she also performed on three main stages at the renowned CMA Fest
in Nashville, TN.


Additionally, on the heels of winning second-place on The Masked
Singer, she starred in Kinky Boots as Nicola, the wife of
Charlie, portrayed by Jake Shears during The Hollywood Bowls’
showcasing in July 2022.
