Sarah Wayne Callies is an actor, writer and director. She is
perhaps best known for starring in multiple hit television series
playing iconic roles such as as Lori Grimes in The Walking
Dead, Dr. Sara Tancredi in Prison Break, Kate Bowman in Colony.


Sarah recently launched her podcast “Prison Breaking” which she
co-hosts with Paul Adelstein - a rewatch podcast for Fox’s,
“Prison Break”. This season, she is set to direct another episode
of the CBS hit “Fire Country” and her first episode of NBC’s The
Irrational. Last year, Sarah starred in the ABC series “The
Company You Keep” alongside Milo Ventimiglia. Prior to that,
Sarah starred in the NBC series “Council Of Dads,” which is
currently available on NBC’s website, Peacock, and Hulu.


​She has also starred in the critically acclaimed NatGeo limited
series, “The Long Road Home'' based on the Martha Raddatz book of
the same name. She also starred in the SundanceTV/CBC limited
series, “Unspeakable,” where Sarah leapt into directing, having
directed an episode of the limited series, “Unspeakable,” as well
as an episode of the final season of “Colony.” Since then, Sarah
has directed for “The Good Doctor,” “Firefly Lane,” “Family Law,”
and most recently, “Fire Country.” As a writer, Sarah has several
screenplays in development with various motion picture entities.



​As a film actress, Sarah has appeared in Giancarlo Esposito’s
“This Is Your Death,” opposite Josh Duhamel and Famke Jannsen,
Warner Brothers’ and Broken Road’s geo-thriller, “Into the
Storm,” Voltage Pictures’ “Pay the Ghost” opposite Nicolas Cage,
“Black November'' opposite Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger, and
20th Century Fox’s “The Other Side of the Door.” Continuing her
passion for storytelling, Sarah is the writer, director, and
voice of the science fiction, post-apocalyptic scripted podcast
“Aftershock” whose second season recently launched in August from
iHeartRadio.

and her new podcast, community, motivation, talking up + those in
power, directing, advice from casting directors, + plenty more!
