In a statement on Sunday, American Airlines
announced it will be extending flight cancellations through April
24, 2019, as it waits for information from the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) on the grounded Boeing 737
MAX jets, following a Lion Air crash in October and
an Ethiopian Airlines crash on March 10. American Airlines says
this extension will result in about 90 flights canceled per day.
