Episode 42 - Round 11 Wrap: Cash of the Titans!

What a few days we have had.... the NRL had a bit going on as
well, but more on that later.


Adam managed to watch 6 of the 8 games as well as the beginning
of the MLB season (Let's go Whitesox!). Jarrod managed to sit
through the whole Newcastle game with his Canterbury supporter
parents and we both sat down on Monday night to record this epic
episode. 


The Titans get their man with David Fifita signing a mega money
deal which sees him move down the highway from Brisbane to the
Gold Coast.


While the Roosters look set to sign SBW for $150,000, the NRL
seem to be in prime position (again) to sign Joseph Suaalii for
big money and Gus Gould might finally have the platform to put
his money where his mouth is at ARL headquarters (Have you heard
about this Rothfield?)  


Round 11 brought more season ending injuries, a nomination for
Team Try of the Year and another blunker blunder.

Brewery and Beer: Hop Nation Brewing Co. Banana Pastry Stout


ABV: 6.0%

Hop Nation has recently released a three-part pastry stout series
which promises to bring out the fun side of stout (Is there
another side I don't know about?). Each stout is designed to
recreate a favourite dessert.  Part two is the Banana Pastry
which displays a creamy yellow head and with a taste reminding
you of a classic banana (& chocolate) split. Oozing
chocolate, nice and creamy. It was sooooo good. I love stouts and
at a lower ABV. content than most you can have a couple!
