Episode 52 - Round 16 Wrap: Favourites are Flexing

Happy Birthday Rugby League! 


If you hadn't heard, our game of rugby league turned 125 years
old over the weekend. So what better time to bring up the debate
of scrums, salary cap alterations and the discrepancy of
punishment for players depending on their tier of talent. 


If there was a birthday theme for Round 16 it could be
'Favourites Flex their Muscle'. Sydney City, Melbourne and
Penrith all looked a class above their opposition and seem primed
for the final 4 weeks before finals. 


At the other end of the table there is a battle looming that
whilst missing talent, will surely not be short on drama or
incentive. We are of course talking about the battle for the
Wooden Spoon. We analyse the final 4 rounds for the Broncos &
Bulldogs to identify which match-ups will have greatest
significance. 


The Rabbits suffer a HUGE injury blow, a couple of clubs will
head to the judiciary to appeal crusher tackle charges for key
players and the top 8 is pretty much set.
