Episode 28: "She Swings and Boy Does She Swing!" with Jennifer Bartels

On this week's episode of Unemployed, Anna interviews the very
funny and incredible actress/comedian, Jennifer Bartels. You may
know Jennifer from American Woman (Paramount) or Friends Of The
People (TruTV). She's also a queen of commercials and Anna lives
for her new Geico spot that has aired all of Covid. They talk
about how they both moved to NYC to do Broadway, but found
comedy, how they like to buy expensive designer shoes when they
get a job, and how they need to play sisters in a project! Jen
gives awesome advice on careers that go up and down, and breaks
down the vulnerability of auditioning. We call an unemployed
stranger named Meggie, who although she lost her job, is a
competitive runner training for maybe the Olympics, and that
blows everyone away. Wait til you hear her mile time! Unreal.
Also, Anna and Ellen dissect Anna's nightmare about losing all of
her jobs, and they try out a new segment of pitching yourself for
