Student Series: Don’t let imposter syndrome – or anything else! – destroy your dream. Samantha Boog’s journey from pharmacy to medicine

Sam Boog has always wanted to be a doctor. She took the path of
training as a Pharmacist to work towards that goal and is now a
medical student undertaking an extended rural clinical placement
in Forbes, NSW. Through her journey, she has been able to draw on
her clinical experiences, her family, her mentors, and her
resilience to make the most of every experience. This has
included navigating her chronic health condition, living away
from home, and transitioning to her new professional identity as
a future doctor.
