Honor Your Mother

God commands us to honor our Parents. Honor is given and is not
earned.
Honor ascribes value to a person and glorifies God in the
process.
Honoring others is the only place in scripture where we are given
permission to compete with others (see Romans 12:10).
Four ways to honor your Mother:
- Forgiveness: Forgive them of any and all wrongdoing.
- Spending time together. Ask them to tell you their story.
- Esteem them. Let them know what they have sewn into you that is
good.
- Take care of them when they are old.
