Marked to Forgive Sin

The paralytic along with his friends were not expecting Jesus to
address the sin problem.
Forgiveness is the greatest miracle that Jesus ever performs. It
meets the greatest need, it costs the greatest price, and it
brings the greatest blessing and the most lasting results.
The scribes were correct in saying that only God can forgive
sins.
Jesus establishes His authority to forgive sin.
God’s forgiveness removes His wrath and grants us fellowship and
peace.
God’s forgiveness removes the penalty of sin. Like a Judge, He
drops the charges, removes the destination of hell, and grants a
forever home in heaven with the Trinity.
God’s forgiveness removes the power of sin and grants you the
indwelling power of the Holy Spirit.
We were never destined to forgive ourselves but to receive and
believe in the sacrifice of Jesus.
