Peter’s letter continues to point us to mimic Jesus and to suffer
for righteousness sake.


He asks wives to submit to their husband even when they are not
in alignment with the Word that they may be won over.


Peter ascribes precious beauty in the eyes of the Lord when a
woman comes under the leadership of a husband.


Submission means to come under the mission of the
husband as they follow Christ instructions to love and protect.


Men are to honor their wives as treasure and not to Lord over
them with a strong will.


The husband should protect their wives and remember that they are
coheirs. 


Men’s prayers are in jeopardy when they are not living with their
wives in an understanding way.


We are called to another level of love as followers of Christ. We
are called to bless those who curse us.
