John Holland is the CEO of Ireland-based startup WholeWorldBand,
the award-winning app that allows anyone to make music &
video using only an iPad or iPhone. The system has users ranging
from major professionals such as Ronnie Wood (The Rolling
Stones), Stewart Copeland (The Police), Phil Manzanera (Roxy
Music), Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), David Gray, Within Temptation,
Passenger, KODO and New Model Army, as well as many thousands of
beginners and up-and-coming musicians collaborating together.
WholeWorldBand is the latest development in John’s long and
distinguished career in the fields of mobile communication and
information technology, and has held roles such as the head of
New Business and Innovation at Ericsson RWCE, the CTO at Ericsson
Ireland, VP of Product Operations for RedKnee, and Head of
Technical at Digicel among many others.
