Tom Silverman is a founder and partner in the legendary New
Music Seminar, the world’s most influential Music Business
convention led by the voices that disrupt the conventional,
tackle key issues, and provide a stage for trailblazing artists
to shine. From breakout indie artists to visionary CEOs and
executives, NMS is where high-level discussions and interaction
help craft solutions for this era of music business. Tom is also
the founder and CEO of Tommy Boy, the legendary Hip Hop &
Electronic label begun in NYC in 1981 and credited with launching
the careers of notable Hip Hop legends Afrika Bambaataa, Queen
Latifah, House of Pain, De La Soul, and Naughty By Nature. In
