Phil Kesten, Physics Polymath

Phil Kesten is a professor of physics and the associate vice
provost at SCU. In addition to his physics pursuits, he coached
rowing as a graduate student at the University of Michigan, served
as senior editor for a magazine called “Modern Dad,” and started an
