during the tumultuous times of the communist takeover, Vani
immigrated to the United States with her family. Despite the
language barriers and cultural challenges, she found solace and
expression in theater, which also became a significant escape for
our co-host, Nick.


Vani's story takes us through her adventurous pursuit of theater
in New York, The New School's liberal arts college, meeting her
husband to facing the harsh realities of a high-conflict divorce
after 21 years of marriage. Along the way, she dealt with
third-degree burns, a major apartment fire, and a spinal fusion
surgery while navigating her divorce process. With Nick's
coaching and support, Vani managed to transform her life, using
meditation, breath work, and strategic planning to become a
beacon of hope for others.
