#48 - Izhak Ben Shabat On Building A Billion Dollar Empire

true rags to riches, a story that personally impacted and shifted

His brother and him immigrated to Houston, USA to start a family
business. His family sold their house, car and furniture, flew
over to USA and gave their all the money. They trusted a complete
strange with all the money they have left to import goods from
China to buy toys. Eventually the goods arrived.


So he called his friends back home to fly to USA at their our
cost to help them sell the toys. After selling those goods they
ended up making $4 million dollars, and that was the beginning of
the business mogul he is today.


In 2000, him and his brother began selling Israeli Dead Sea
products out of kiosks in shopping malls.


In 2005 they founded a company called Seacret as a skin care
retail business which is now 20 years old. They expanded Seacret
to 900 kiosks in more than 40 countries.


Until 2012 one of the most credible business tycoons who closed
out the year 2020 being worth 87,3 billion USD, Warren
Buffet advised today’s guest and his brother to take their
business from kiosks to relationship marketing.


Today Seacret has done over 3 billion dollars in worldwide sales,
paid out over $400 million dollars in commissions to their agents
and recently just acquired a $4 billion dollar travel company to
take their company from cutting edge wellness products in the
skin care and nutrition industry to travel and become a world
class lifestyle company.

Their products are manufactured by L’Oréal which is the only
company in the world that L’Oréal manufactures for and does not
own.
