Episode 74 - The Field of Blood (Series One) (2011)

We’re heading back to 1982 on The Swally this week as we look at
the first series of the wonderful Scottish crime drama The Field
of Blood. With an all star cast including Jayd Johnson, Ford
Kieran, Matt Costello, David Morrissey, Peter Capaldi and our
favourite Stephen McCole, this is an adaptation of the novel by
Denise Mina. It tells the tale of young reporter Paddy Meehan,
who investigates the kidnapping of a young boy in Glasgow and
spots similarities to a previous case.


In the news we meet Glasgow’s newest street performer and his new
assistant, hear about a good old fashioned drugs bust, but with a
startling discovery and we ask AI to tell us the ten best things
about Aberdeen, with some strange results.
