After a brief brush with a military career Sophie found her
calling as a campaign and communications lead with the Beaver’s
Trust where she presented their award winning documentary
‘Beavers without Border’.

She loves sharing her knowledge and passion for nature and
climate and tells us how important it is to get people hooked on
the joy you feel when you care about something.

Her book has just debuted ‘Forget me not’ and we can highly
recommend it. Sophie takes a low carbon journey around Britain in
search of ten animals and habitats threatened by climate change
in the 21st century.

She offers fascinating insight into the work that beavers do and
how critical they are to our natural waterways in the UK and how
they helped one farmer in the southwest during a water shortage..
She goes on to explain why it is so important to protect and work
alongside the natural ecosystems here in the UK and around the
world.

Sophie is nothing short of an absolute delight and inspiration to
listen to and we hope you find her passion for the climate and
nature as inspiring as we did.
