Tom in for Nick and joined by broadcaster Jane Mangan. Jane
initially reflects on day 1 of the Galway Festival before looking
ahead to the rest of the week, in particular the Galway Plate. The
team then turn their attention to day 1 of the Qatar Goodwood
Festival and ask if anything can beat star stayer Kyprios in his
bid for yet another Group 1. We hear from James Doyle who has a
superb book of rides on the opening day including Gregory in the
feature. We check in with James Savage, assistant trainer to
Passenger who suffered an injury in the Sky Best York Stakes at the
weekend. Plus it’s Tuesday so we go around the bloodstock world
with our fiends at Weatherbys and to Rodney Schick of New Zealand
Thoroughbred Racing.
