General George S. Patton ranks among the greatest military
leaders in history. His WWII victory in the Battle of the Bulge
broke the spirit of the Nazis. His personal goal was to drive to
Berlin to shoot Hitler. After the war he wanted to force the
Russians out of Germany and as far east as possible.
