John Dewey: Destroyer of American Education

John Dewey held that the purpose of education was not to teach
the child science, literature, history or geography, but rather
to prime him for social cooperation and community life. After a
century of his “progressive educational” method being applied in
American schools, a large percentage of students are unable to
read, write, or reason.
