The Word Explosion and Language Development of Toddlers

The girls are nearly two and are in an unconscious absorbent
stage for language. This also means that this is the perfect time
to introduce and practice a second language, even if your
pronunciation is as rudimentary as the French Morgen speaks to
Charlie with. Toddlers are taking everything in, and eventually,
all they have learned will come pouring out of them, which means
there has been a word explosion in Morgen and Trisha's homes.
 The ladies of the show are checking in to see where the
girls are with their language development. 


Morgen shares how she works with her toddler students on language
in the classroom and Trisha discusses what she does at home to
practice and engage Remi in speech. Morgen surprised Trisha with
some unconventional activities that are actually beneficial to
